It is an improbable contest. Anita Dobson is best known for having played Angie, the hard-drinking wife of Dirty Den, in a soap opera “The Eastenders”. Gwyneth Paltrow is renowed for her alabaster skin, short-term boyfriends and weepy acceptance speeches. On February 14th, these icons will be competing for the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actress on the London stage. Ms Dobson is nominated for her role in “Frozen” at the National Theatre; Ms Paltrow for her turn in “Proof” at the Donmar Warehouse. Это соперничество просто невероятно.
